Problem base system device driver on Windows 7

Yesterday I succesfully installed Windows 7 Home Premium  into my Dell XPS M1330 Notebook. All off the driver is auto detect except only one device in device manager has no driver and show “Base System Device” warning in device manager.

Here I would like to share how to solve this case.

In this case, to verify what is the correct driver, right click it in the device manager, properties, details tab, change dropdown to hardware ids.

Copy and paste what you see, pci\ven_1180&dev_0592&CC_088000.
By searching from the web for: “pci\ven_1180&dev_0592&CC_088000” most the result is related to a ricoh card reader.
So I download this driver:

Dell Drivers and Downloads

After successfully download, double click it and extract it to the c:\Dell folder. Then right click on the unknown device and update driver but point it at the dell folder

If its the right driver it will work.
