Here I want to share about this problem that I found during formatting and install windows XP into my PC. I have done this many time but I never found this problem. During formatting, it format the hard disk fine, but when starts to copy files, and then it goes show the following error.

Windows XP Professional Setup
The file xxxxx.dll was not copied correctly.

The file Setup placed on your hard drive is not a valid Windows XP
system image. If you are installing from a CD, there may be a problem
with the Windows XP CD.

To retry, press ENTER.

If you continue to recieve this message, contact your
Windows XP supplier or system administrator.

To skip this file, press ESC.

CAUTION: If you skip this file, Setup may not complete
and Windows XP may not work properly.

To quit Setup, press F3.

Enter=Retry ESC=Skip Files F3=Quit

Recommended Solutions (Installation using CD):

1. Refer to above error message, check the conditions of the CD. Make sure no scratch and readable.
2. Check your CD/DVD ROM. Make sure it’s working fine.
3. Check your RAM (This solve my issue). If you use multiple of RAM, please make sure the “pairing” of RAM with same specifications like model,speed and etc. Like my situation, my PC should using SDRAM PC100, but I mixed it with SDRAM PC133. After I used PC100 only, it’s solve my problem.
